• Roads were blocked by snow at altitudes above 1,600 meters, especially roads in Ainata, Hadath el Jebbeh-Tannourine and Bcharre. A team from the Public Works Ministry was deployed to reopen the roads. In addition, roads in Qobeiyat, Laqlouq and Mechmech-Merbin are completely covered with snow and still difficult to access.
• High winds and torrential rains tore off plastic greenhouses in the Akkar Valley, adds our correspondent. A tree fell on a car parked in the locality of Mina in Tripoli.
• Yesterday the Civil Defense reopened several roads in Sur, and repaired water refineries that were clogged. Teams also removed cars stranded by heavy rain. On the streets of Saida, rain ground traffic to a halt.
