Joe Issa el-Khoury has held leadership positions in several investment banks, including Merill Lynch and Saradar Group, and chaired M1 Group, a Beirut-based holding with shares in telecommunications, energy, and real estate. He was also Secretary-General of 'Ittihadiyoun,' a federalist association in Lebanon. He is part of the Lebanese Forces quota and succeeds Georges Bouchikian (Tachnaq).
