From the start of the battle for Ali Taher to its dramatic end, marked by a huge explosion that destroyed much of the installations and tunnels, a number of accounts have circulated about what really happened on the hill.Some describe it simply as a military battle that unfolded over several weeks. Others suggest there may have been an arrangement, or even a deal, that allowed Iranian officials and members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) to leave the site before Israeli forces entered.There is, so far, no evidence that confirms that such a deal took place.
