Israeli soldier wounded in 'close combat' with Hezbollah in southern Lebanon

The Israeli military announced that one of its soldiers was moderately wounded during a 'close combat' clash with Hezbollah fighters in southern Lebanon on the night between Friday and Saturday, despite the cease-fire.

"During the night, an Israeli army officer was moderately wounded during an operation in southern Lebanon," the military said in a statement, later referring to a 'close combat with terrorists,' without providing further details.
