The Israeli military said Tuesday it intercepted a drone near the Jordanian border and is investigating its origin.
"The UAV did not cross into Israeli territory. The origin of the launch is under review," the military said.
Jordan has been repeatedly targeted since fighting between Iran and the United States resumed earlier this month. Israel has not taken part in the latest round of hostilities.
Separately, the military said air strike sirens sounded near Kissufim, on the Gaza border, due to a "false identification."
