BEIRUT — Five Lebanese companies specializing in packaging and packing won eight awards at the WorldStar Packaging Awards (or WorldStar Awards), organized by the World Packaging Organization, according to the Association of Lebanese Industrialists (ALI).
This achievement was celebrated in Beirut in the presence of Industry Minister Joe Issa al-Khoury, who described it as a "remarkable accomplishment" that shows the "creativity, quality, and resilience" of Lebanese industrialists, even in times of war and crisis. Eighteen products had been shortlisted after a pre-screening through the Arab StarPack competition, organized by LibanPack, placing the country among the top ten in the world in terms of awards received, according to the ALI.
Gemayel Frères (three awards), Unipak (two awards), Pro Plus Creative, Rawi Rum, and Tagbrands were recognized.
