The Culture Ministry officially relaunched Cinémathèque Libanaise (Lebanese Cinematheque) on Thursday afternoon, aiming to preserve the country’s cinematic memory. Supported by Centre national du cinéma et de l'image animée (National Center for Cinema and the Moving Image, CNC), the project was inaugurated on May 14 at 4 p.m. at the National Library of Lebanon in the Sanayeh neighborhood of Beirut.Visitors will be able to tour the venue and explore an inaugural exhibition offering a first glimpse at the collections and the institution's key areas of focus.
