Union of Journalists in Lebanon mobilizes to protect journalists
The International Federation of Journalists, Arab Journalists Federation, and International Human Rights Commission all sent messages of support in the context of the Union's solidarity meeting.

Journalists from diverse backgrounds responded Tuesday to the call by president of the Union of Journalists, Joseph Kossayfi, for a general meeting aimed at denouncing Israel's attacks against journalists and seeking to mobilize international bodies for this purpose.Information Minister Paul Morcos and Member of Parliament Melhem Khalaf, who serves on the parliamentary human rights committee, attended the meeting, alongside National Audiovisual Council President Abdel Hadi Mahfouz, Information Ministry Director-General Hassan Falha, and Télé-Liban Director-General Alissar Naddaf Geagea.
