A strike in northwestern Iraq killed two fighters from the former paramilitary coalition Hashed al-Shaabi on Wednesday, the alliance said, blaming the U.S. and Israel.
An official with the group told AFP there were "two dead and six wounded in a Zionist-American aggression" on a position in Tal Afar district in Nineveh Governorate, near the Syrian border.
The alliance is also known as the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), and is now part of Iraq's regular armed forces although it also contains pro-Iran factions.
