"We are capable of shaking up the country and overthrowing the government, our patience has limits," said Hezbollah's deputy head of the Political Council, Mahmoud Comati, according to remarks reported by MTV. "The Vichy government arrested and executed the resistance fighters, then it was overthrown and its traitors executed. God willing, we will not reach that point," he added.
"A direct confrontation with the political power in place seems inevitable after the war, whatever the outcome. The Lebanese government is no longer fit to govern the country and its positions only serve the Israeli enemy. A confrontation is therefore imminent and the traitors will pay for their treason," he stressed.
