For the event taking place from May 9 to Nov. 22, 2026, in the lagoon city, the artist converts the national pavilion into an immersive space with 26 spiraling canvases that examine identity, time and our relationship with a fragmented world.

Under the solemn glass roof of the National Library, artist Nabil Nahas presented "Don’t Get Me Wrong," the project he will showcase to represent Lebanon at the Venice Art Biennale, in the presence of Culture Minister Ghassan Salameh.Before an audience of professionals, diplomats and art enthusiasts, the artist unveiled a monumental installation designed as a passage: a frieze nearly 45 meters long, composed of 26 canvases, that unfolds without a linear narrative and encourages a gradual, almost reflective viewing experience.
