Yervant Hawarian's memories are stamped with movie posters and star portraits on huge banners, including political figures 22 meters tall, a 75-meter-long James Bond, a 100-meter panel for an Arab dictator and the silhouette of 'L’enfant du péché' stretching over a 16-meter facade. The 76-year-old man, who lists these figures — like many records he set throughout his career — has eyes shining with a mix of satisfaction and nostalgia. It's no wonder, as he was the star poster artist of Beirut’s golden age.
