BEIRUT — Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received a letter Monday from Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian, addressed to the U.S. administration, according to the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The de facto leader of the Gulf kingdom is set to arrive in Washington on Tuesday for talks with U.S. President Donald Trump and to finalize several strategic agreements.
The possible Saudi accession to the Abraham Accords will be discussed, according to U.S. media outlet Axios, as well as Iran's nuclear program. A framework agreement on developing a civil nuclear program in Saudi Arabia is also expected to be on the agenda.
