BEIRUT — Gaza's civil defense stated Tuesday that Israeli forces killed at least 50 people who had gathered near an aid distribution center in the southern Palestinian territory.
The spokesperson for this first aid organization, Mahmoud Bassal, told AFP that more than 200 people were also injured as thousands of Palestinians gathered Tuesday morning to receive aid in Khan Younis. "Israeli drones fired on the people. A few minutes later, Israeli tanks fired several shells [...], resulting in a large number of martyrs and injured," he said.
