U.S. President Donald Trump announced that he discussed several issues with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, including possible solutions for Gaza, according to Reuters. Trump said the call went very well.
President Joseph Aoun met with Prime Minister Nawaf Salam in Baabda, according to an announcement from the Lebanese presidency on X. They discussed "the measures to be adopted in response to the consequences of the Israeli aggression on the southern suburbs," the presidency said.
The Lebanese army announced that it had removed the earth barricades recently erected by Israeli forces in Odaisseh (Marjayoun), reopening a road leading to one of the village's hills, in coordination with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).
The army, however, said that while its unit was operating, the Israeli army "fired into the air near the Lebanese soldiers to force them to withdraw." However, the Lebanese soldiers continued their work until the road was reopened, the army added.
The head of the Ramieh Municipal Council (Bint Jbeil), Ali Merhi, received 50 prefabricated containers donated by the NGO Wa Taawanou ("Help Each Other"), reported the state-run National News Agency (NNA). These temporary shelters are intended to house farmers and residents whose homes were destroyed by Israel.
Water tanks were also installed in the courtyard of the village public school.
Hezbollah officially announced the death of one of its "commanders," Hassan Ali Bdeir (Hajj Rabih), and his son, Ali Hassan Bdeir (Jawad), in the Israeli attack on their home in the Sfeir neighborhood, in the southern suburbs of Beirut, at dawn on Tuesday.
The party announced that the funeral would be held on Wednesday at 4 p.m. at Rawdat al-Hawraa Zeinab in Beirut's southern suburbs. It also called on its public to turn out in large numbers for the burial of the two men.
United States/Iran
Reports circulating in some local Lebanese media and online news sites about an "imminent" attack on Iran, based on Israeli Channel 14, originate from analyses by an Israeli journalist named Hallel Bitton Rosen, in an article published Monday evening on the channel’s website.
"Trump's threats leave no doubt, and with the air force training and special security measures already in place — awaiting only an order — everything is ready for an attack on Iran. Unless a major development occurs, a large-scale offensive on Iranian soil is expected to take place," he claims.
"Iran would receive a blow of unparalleled severity — such that no sovereign state has endured since World War II," he adds, outlining a scenario he believes would unfold in the event of such an attack.
Gaza
The Israeli army has called on the residents of Gaza, particularly those in the regions of Rafah, the municipalities of Nasr and Chawka, the eastern and western sectors, and the neighborhoods of Salam, Manara, and Qizan al-Najjar, to evacuate their homes and head to shelter centers in Mawassi.
"We repeat our urgent warnings. For your safety, go immediately and without hesitation to the Mawassi shelter centers. Do not listen to Hamas and its attempts to prevent you from leaving to use you as human shields," emphasized Avichay Adraee, the Israeli army's Arabic-speaking spokesperson, on X.
South Lebanon
According to our correspondent, the Israeli army is stopping the Lebanese army from adavancing on Lebanese territory after they started to open a road in Adaisseh, Marjeyoun district, in coordination with UNIFIL.
An Israeli tank and a military vehicle crossed into Lebanese territory and positioned themselves in front of the Lebanese army, forcing the latter to withdraw.

In an interview with Russian state media, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov warned that strikes on Iran's nuclear infrastructure would have "catastrophic" consequences for the entire region, according to Reuters.
U.S. President Donald Trump threatened on Sunday to bomb Iran and impose secondary tariffs if no agreement was reached on its nuclear program.
Sergei Ryabkov condemned Trump's "ultimatums," calling them "inappropriate."
Gaza
The armed wing of the Islamic Jihad has claimed responsibility for the rocket fire launched from northern Gaza towards Israel earlier in the day, according to statements by Al Jazeera and Haaretz.

Health Ministry in Gaza announced on Tuesday that 1,042 people had been killed since the resumption of Israeli bombings on March 18, including 41 in the last 24 hours, according to AFP.
The ministry also stated that the bombings and ground offensive by Israel have also resulted in 2,542 injuries since March 18. The total death toll in Gaza since the beginning of the war, now stands at 50,399.

After the Israeli overnight strike on the southern suburbs of Beirut, condemnations have followed one after the other.
Lebanon
The toll from the Israeli airstrike in the southern suburbs of Beirut, early Tuesday morning, has risen to four killed and seven injured, according to the Health Ministry, which added that one of the seriously injured later succumbed to their wounds.
According to our correspondent in southern Lebanon, the deceased are Hassan Ali Bdeir, Ahmed Mohammed Mahmoud, and Hyam Mohammed Mahmoud. Hassan Ali Bdeir was the Hezbollah official that the Israeli army targeted.
As for the injured, their names are Samia Ibrahim, Hassan Ibrahim, Ali Abdel Khalil, Imane Halal, Mona Amine Younes, Lina Halbaoui, Yasser Hussein Makhour, and Ali Hassan Bdeir.
Hassan Bdeir's son, Ali, is reported to have quickly succumbed to his injuries, according to our information.
209 Journalists Killed in Israel’s War on Gaza
The war between Israel and Gaza has claimed the lives of 209 journalists, with the recent death of Mohammed Saleh al-Bardawil, a broadcaster for Sawt Al-Aqsa Radio, marking another heartbreaking loss. According to Gaza's Government Media Office, al-Bardawil’s death has brought the grim toll to 209.
In a statement shared on Telegram, the office strongly condemned the targeting and killing of Palestinian journalists, calling for justice in the face of these tragic attacks.

Israeli jets are flying at low altitude over villages west of Baalbeck, reports our correspondent in the Bekaa, citing specifically the localities of Taraya, Shmestar, and their surrounding areas.

According to an AFP photographer, the top two floors of the building targeted in Beirut were destroyed, and debris covered the street.
Residents, woken in the middle of the night, were fleeing their homes in panic, while rescuers helped the wounded. Without naming the specific target, the Israeli military stated that it had "acted to eliminate and removed the threat."

⚡Israeli army issued new evacuation orders in northern Gaza, through its Arabic-speaking spokesperson Avichay Adraee, in anticipation of further airstrikes. The U.S. State Department stated on Tuesday that Israel is defending itself against rocket fire from Lebanon and that Washington blames "terrorists" for the resumption of hostilities, according to Reuters.
"Hostilities resumed because terrorists launched rockets at Israel from Lebanon," a State Department spokesperson said in an email to Reuters overnight, adding that Washington supports Israel's response.
Yemen
Houthis claimed last night to have shot down another American drone, an MQ-9 Reaper on a reconnaissance mission, according to a video from a rebel spokesperson shared on social media.
The drone is said to have been shot down over the disputed Marib governorate in Yemen. This would be the 16th drone destroyed by the Houthis, according to the spokesperson.

54% of U.S. citizens "disapprove of President Donald Trump's approach to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict," according to a poll published Monday by the AP-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research, which surveyed 1,229 adults from March 20 to 24 on nine topics.
However, there is a significant divide between Democrats and Republicans on this issue: while 85% of Republicans "support the president's approach," 85% of Democrats "disapprove" of it.

Yemen
The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) stated in post on X that it is continuing its operations against the Houthis and shared two videos: one showing the launch of a missile fired from a warship, and the other showing fighter jets maneuvering on an aircraft carrier.
In Israel, the situation is becoming increasingly complicated for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who announced this morning that he had reversed his decision made the previous day to appoint Admiral Eli Sharvit, former Navy commander, as the new head of the Shin Bet security agency.
This appointment, heavily criticized within the country, was announced on Monday despite the Supreme Court’s freeze on the dismissal of the current Shin Bet director, Ronen Bar. It comes at a time when legal pressure seems to be mounting on the Prime Minister in connection with the Qatargate case.
Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich announced his resignation on Monday in a letter addressed to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. According to his spokesperson, this decision is a protest against the demand of Itamar Ben Gvir, leader of the ultranationalist and religious Jewish Power party, who is requesting more ministerial portfolios upon his return to the government.

In Gaza, Palestinians are still under attack.
The resumption of the Israeli offensive in Gaza has resulted in the deaths of at least 322 children in ten days UNICEF announced on Monday.
Since the resumption of the offensive, 1,001 people have been killed in Gaza, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry, bringing the total death toll to 50,357 since the war began with the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023.
Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam followed Joseph Aoun’s lead in "condemning" the Israeli aggression on the southern suburbs of Beirut, calling it a blatant violation of U.N. Resolution 1701, which affirms Lebanon's sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as a clear violation of the cease-fire agreements made last October.
He also stated that he was "monitoring the repercussions of this aggression with the Lebanese Defense and Interior ministers.
⚡ President Joseph Aoun condemned the Israeli raid, describing it as a dangerous warning regarding Israeli intentions against Lebanon.
"This Israeli aggression forces us to double down our efforts to address Lebanon's friends around the world and mobilize them in favor of our right to full sovereignty over our territory," emphasized the Lebanese head of state on the presidency's X account.
The president also stressed the need "to prevent any violation of sovereignty from abroad or from insiders who provide an additional pretext for aggression." "We will work with the government and its president to thwart any attempt to spoil the exceptional opportunity to save Lebanon," he added.

Israel carried out an airstrike on the southern suburbs of Beirut early Tuesday at around 3:30 a.m., resulting in at least three deaths and seven injuries, according to an initial report from the Health Ministry. According to our sources, the raid targeted a building near the Imam al-Kazem mosque in the Sfeir neighborhood. The Israeli military claims that the strike, conducted without warning, targeted a Hezbollah member. The identity of this person has not yet been disclosed.
This is the second attack on the capital since the cease-fire between Israel and Hezbollah came into effect on Nov.27. It comes as U.S. Deputy Special Envoy to the Middle East, Morgan Ortagus, is expected to visit Lebanon this week. Israel still occupies several positions in south Lebanon.
