BEIRUT — Israeli attacks on residents returning to their homes in the still-occupied villages of south Lebanon have resulted in 24 deaths since Sunday, including six women, the Health Ministry's Emergency Operations Center said Monday. These shootings at crowds of civilians have also injured 134 people, including 14 women and 12 children.
The death toll by village is as follows:
- Aitaroun: 5 killed and 13 wounded
- Houla: 3 killed and 24 wounded
- Markaba: 4 killed and 12 wounded
- Kfar Kila: 4 killed and 23 wounded
- Odaisseh: 2 killed and 16 wounded
- Blida: One killed and 2 wounded
- Dhaira: A Lebanese army soldier killed
- Mais al-Jabal: 3 killed and 13 wounded
- Bani Hayan: 2 wounded
- Maroun al-Ras: 10 wounded
- Bint Jbeil: One wounded
- Ainata: One wounded
- Wadi Slouqi: One wounded
- Beit Yahoun: One wounded
- Shaqra: One wounded
- Deir Mimas: One wounded
- Rab Thalathine: One killed and two wounded
- Tibeh: 2 wounded
- Yaroun: 7 wounded
- Tallousseh: One wounded
- Aita al-Shaab: One wounded
