A grenade was found Friday on the side of the Beddaoui highway near Tripoli, in northern Lebanon, by passersby, according to our correspondent Michel Hallak.
The passersby alerted the army, which arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area, preventing anyone from approaching the device. An explosives expert was dispatched to safely detonate the grenade.
