The World Health Organization says that the Kamal Adwan Hospital is "now empty" following an Israeli military raid which put north Gaza's last major health facility out of service, AFP reports.

The WHO said it was "appalled" by Friday's raid, saying "hospitals have once again become battlegrounds." On Saturday evening, the Israeli army announced it had completed its operations at the hospital, which it described as "a Hamas command center," a continuation of the narrative it has used in previous attacks against hospitals in Gaza.

"The systematic dismantling of the health system and a siege for over 80 days on north Gaza puts the lives of the 75,000 Palestinians remaining in the area at risk," the U.N. health agency said in a statement.

Five Israeli demonstrators protesting for the release of hostages held in Gaza since Oct. 7 of last year have been arrested outside the home of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem, the Guardian reports.

Twenty protestors gathered outside the home in the early morning, shouting through loudspeakers at the prime minister that the hostages were “cold, tortured and sick” while he enjoyed the comforts of his home, according to Channel 12, an Israeli broadcaster. “Everything is closing in on you. We, the people, will not forget and will not forgive,” the protestors shouted while banging on drums and blowing horns. Police say they were held for violating noise restrictions.

According to Haaretz, demonstrations opposing the government and calling for the return of the hostages are set to take place tonight in cities across Israel, including in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa and Be'er Sheva. The number of people taking to the streets in protest against Netanyahu and his war policies has surged yet again this past week.

Residents of the town fled to Gandourieh, in Bint Jbeil district. Small arms fire was also heard in the neighborhoods of Taybeh, Kantara, Aadshit al-Qousseir and Deir Seriane.

Despite being one month into a cease-fire agreement ostensibly to end the fighting between Hezbollah and Israel, the latter continues to operate in southern Lebanon, destroying homes and buildings on a near-daily basis. The Israeli army has killed more than 30 people since the truce came into effect.
