On Sunday night, Israel struck Beirut, within the administrative border of the capital, for the first time since fighting began in October. At around 1 a.m., a missile hit an apartment in a residential building in the Cola neighborhood, killing four people, including three members of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). The Palestinian group announced that the three victims were Mohammad Abdel Aal, a member of the political bureau, Imad Audi, a military training officer in Lebanon, and Abdel Rahman Abdel Aal, a member of the group. The identity of the fourth victim is unknown. Four people were also wounded in the attack, which stripped Beirut of its "safe" status and moved it to the "gray zone."During the first 11 months of the war, the inner-city capital, located some 100 km from the border, seemed out of danger....
