Several media outlets, including the BBC, the Washington Post and CBS, have reported that Israel is planning a limited ground operation in Lebanon, which could begin imminently, according to a U.S. official.Israel has informed the U.S. of its intent to launch "a number of military operations," noting however that these were "limited operations targeting Hezbollah infrastructure near the border with Lebanon," said State Department spokesman Matthew Miller."The United States still supports a cease-fire in Lebanon, but military pressure can sometimes activate diplomacy," he added.The Lebanese army has repositioned its troops in southern Lebanon following Israeli incursion threats, AFP and a military source told L'Orient Today. A Lebanese security source quoted by Reuters said the troops pulled back 5 kilometers north of the border....
