This weekend, we went to downtown Beirut for a festival to mark Sibanet Ramadan.

Never heard of that tradition?

Also called Sayran Ramadan, it's a celebration of the arrival of the holy month and the last few days before the beginning of the fast. This tradition, however, is sadly dying out.
