US military monitoring 34 personnel after Jordan drone attack injuries: Official

The number of US military forces who may have been injured in a drone attack on a base in northeast Jordan on Sunday has risen, with some 34 personnel being monitored for possible traumatic brain injuries, a US official told Reuters.

An earlier US military statement had said three US service members were killed and 25 injured in the attack. The Pentagon has still not released details on the types of injuries sustained, but traumatic brain injury is a common occurrence after a large blast.
