It threatened military action.
According to L'Orient-Le Jour correspondent Muntasser Abdallah, army intelligence personnel, accompanied by municipal representatives, conducted reconnaissance and verification operations to determine whether any armed elements were present in the neighborhood.

Waweya added that the evacuation orders issued in recent days for parts of Sour did not include the Christian quarter and called on members of the city's Christian community to "demand the expulsion of Hezbollah saboteurs" from their neighborhoods.
She also said that Hezbollah members operating in the area "are not safe."
"If you continue to remain and operate in this area, the Israeli army will issue evacuation orders for the Christian quarter and take the necessary measures against you," the statement said.
