He also called on the Lebanese state “to act quickly with international bodies and the United Nations to immediately stop these daily Israeli attacks, which target civilians in densely populated residential areas.”

Lebano-Palestinian political meeting condemns Israeli raids on Ain al-Hilweh

Meeting urgently on Wednesday at the headquarters of the Popular Nasserist Organization in Sidon, the Lebano-Palestinian Political Meeting denounced the Israeli bombing of the Ain al-Hilwe Palestinian camp, calling the attacks “systematic against the city and its camps.”

In a statement, the participants “condemned the American role,” accusing the United States of “seeking to strengthen Israel’s presence in the Middle East as a dominant power, thereby providing political and military cover for ongoing Zionist aggressions against Lebanon, Palestine, and the region.”

“The latest aggression was not an isolated incident but a message that affects Lebanon’s sovereignty and aims to draw the Palestinian camps and the city of Sidon into a cycle of tensions and clashes, in an attempt to undermine stability for the benefit of the occupier,” the statement added. It also denounced “continuous aggression against Lebanon and constant violations of its sovereignty, threatening its security and stability.”

The meeting further noted that targeting Ain al-Hilweh, the largest Palestinian camp in Lebanon, is part of a “strategy to displace Palestinians, weaken their resistance, and undermine their right of return.”

“It is an attack on the Palestinian presence as a whole, aiming to advance colonization projects and eliminate the Palestinian cause through bombings and terror,” the statement continued.
