A massive fire broke out on Sunday in an electricity generator on the road connecting Mina to Tripoli in northern Lebanon. The flames quickly spread to a nearby residential building, causing several cases of asphyxiation among residents, according to local correspondent Michel Hallak.
The fire also reached a diesel tank, sending thick black smoke billowing into the sky. Firefighters and ambulances rushed to the scene, evacuating residents to ensure their safety.
