On Thursday, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for an attack using “booby-trapped drones” on the “air defense headquarters in Kiryat Eliyezer,” a neighborhood near the port of Haifa. This strike took place at 8:30 a.m., at the same time as a rocket strike aimed at Zvulun, north of Haifa, according to separate party press releases.
At the same time, warning sirens had sounded in the cities of Acre and Haifa, following the intrusion of a “hostile flying vehicle,” according to Haaretz.
At 10:50 a.m., the party also fired rockets at “the village of Kfar Szold,” some 10 kilometers from the Blue Line, close to the occupied Syrian Golan Heights.
Earlier in the morning, Hezbollah had claimed responsibility for several strikes on Israeli positions on the Lebanese border. An anti-tank missile fired from Lebanon killed a Thai worker in Yiron, on the border.
