A seismic tremor was felt on Friday around 1:17 p.m. local time in Beirut, northern Lebanon, and several other regions, according to the National News Agency (NNA).

The Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Centre reported on X that a 5.2 magnitude earthquake occurred in Syria, about 22 kilometers from Hama.

A tremor was felt, with varying intensity depending on the region, during the night from Monday to Tuesday, causing minor damage. Some residents temporarily left their homes, particularly in Tripoli (North Lebanon), where they went to the city's exhibition park and stayed in their cars for some time.
