Members of the Lebanese Red Cross found Farid Moukheiber Geagea, an 85-year-old Lebanese man who had disappeared two days earlier, just after midnight Sunday morning, in the Bekaa, according to a press release relayed by our correspondent in the region, Sarah Abdallah.
The man, who suffers from Alzheimer's disease, was in a ravine west of the city of Baalbeck, not far from the town of Deir al-Ahmar. He was transferred to Dar al-Amal University Hospital (Baalbeck-Douris) with a broken leg. His relatives had alerted the security services two days earlier and had begun a search in the vicinity of his home town, Barqa, not far from the area where he was found.
