Four members of one family were killed on Saturday evening by an Israeli strike on their home in the south Lebanon village of Khirbet Silm. The victims include three Hezbollah fighters.
Hezbollah fighters Jaafar Ali Marji and his two sons, Ali and Hassan, were killed in the strike, according to a statement issued by Hezbollah overnight. Marji's pregnant wife was also killed, our correspondent in the south reported.
According to our correspondent in south Lebanon, Muntasser Abdallah, the targeted house was completely destroyed, and neighboring houses were seriously damaged, injuring nine people. The injured included two 15-year-old girls, two 20-year-old women and five older women, all of whom were taken to the government hospital in Tibnine (Bint Jbeil) by the Islamic Mission Scouts Association (al-Rissala) affiliated with the Amal Movement, a Hezbollah ally. The remains of the victims were also transferred there.
