BEIRUT — One man was killed after clashes broke out between him and a member of his family in Brital, located in the Baalbeck district, security sources told L'Orient Today's correspondent in the Bekaa.
The family dispute between both men had escalated and led to an exchange of gunfire between them, resulting in the killing of one and the injuring of two brothers and a Syrian person, who were all transported to local hospitals, security sources confirmed.
The security source noted that tension and anger erupted in the town as a result of the crime.
The Bekaa valley, where weapons circulate massively, is often the scene of bloody clashes, while the state struggles to impose its authority.
