BEIRUT — Fuel prices sharply increased in Lebanon on Tuesday, according to the latest tariffs announced by the Energy Ministry. This new price hike comes as the Lebanese lira hit a new record low on the parallel market, trading around LL54,000 against the dollar.
Here are the new prices:
• Twenty liters of 95-octane gasoline: LL958,000, up by LL50,000
• Twenty liters of 98-octane gasoline: LL982,000, up by LL51,000
• Twenty liters of diesel: LL1,007,000, up by LL51,000
• Gas cylinder: LL613,000 up by LL32,000.
• One kiloliter of fuel oil (used to supply private generators): $888.29, up by $10.89
