BEIRUT– A truck carrying gas cylinders caught fire Thursday night and later exploded near the village of Majdel in Wadi Khaled, North Lebanon, injuring a Syrian, our correspondent in the area reported.
Here’s what we know:
• The injured man, responsible for filling the gas cylinders, was transported to a hospital in the region. Firefighters intervened to put out the fire, but the causes of the fire remain unknown.
• In mid-February, a truck carrying gas exploded in Zouk Mosbeh, but caused no casualties.
