BEIRUT — Hubert Fattal, CEO of the Fattal distribution group, has been found murdered, a security source confirmed to L'Orient Today.
Here's what we know:
• According to several local media outlets and the state-run National News Agency, the CEO was found stabbed to death in his villa in the Metn town of Mansourieh.
• The circumstances surrounding the tragedy that claimed the life of the 52-year-old man remain unknown. According to the media reports, the victim suffered several knife wounds to the neck and hip. The NNA added that that victim's car is missing. Forensic police attended the scene.
• The security source L'Orient Today spoke to added that as yet the perpetrator is unknown and an investigation into the crime is ongoing.
• In 2016, Hubert Fattal became CEO of the Fattal group, which was founded in 1897 by his great-grandfather Khalil Farès Fattal and is active in Lebanon as well as the broader Middle East and North Africa. He was also the head of the perfume brand Fragrances Hubert Fattal. He graduated from the prestigious Parsons School of Design in Paris and Goldsmith College of Fine Arts in London.
