“I hope so,” Dana* said when asked if she plans to visit Lebanon this summer.From Canada, where she has lived for 14 years, this mother of two teenagers was still calling insurance companies yesterday to check the terms and conditions for postponing and canceling flights in case the clashes between Hezbollah and Israel, which broke out on Oct. 8, escalate into an “all-out war.”Last April, Dana booked a month-long holiday in Beirut for July, including cancellation insurance.Although Canada recently advised its citizens to “avoid all travel to Lebanon,” she remains uncertain about the situation.In Lebanon, “Everyone tells me that everything is fine,” she said.
