BRUSSELS — EU countries have agreed to add 10 new subjects to the Iran sanctions list, a source with knowledge of the matter told Reuters on Wednesday on the condition of anonymity.
The source added the move is related to Iran's armed presence in the Middle East and the Red Sea region as well as the country's military support for Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine.
European Union leaders previously had agreed to step up sanctions against Iran after Tehran's missile and drone attack on Israel.
