The Civil Defense extinguished a fire at the Muntazah restaurant in Annaya, Mount Lebanon, on Sunday morning, the first responders said in a statement, adding there were no casualties in the incident.
In its statement, the Civil Defense said that after hours of working to extinguish the fire, which started at 3 a.m., it managed to put out the blaze in the three-story Muntazah restaurant.
The fire spread rapidly to all parts of the restaurant, which was predominantly constructed from wood, the Civil Defense said.
The Civil Defense also said they administered first aid to someone suffering from difficulty breathing because of the smoke caused by the fire.
