BEIRUT — At least five people were killed on Friday in a two-car accident in the town of Qalamoun after one of the two vehicles crashed into an electricity pylon, witnesses told L'Orient-Le Jour's local correspondent.
A Syrian mother and her two children, as well as two other members of the same family who lived in Dennieh, were killed.
The accident also left five people injured and in critical condition.
Ambulances rushed to their aid, while the Lebanese Red Cross transported the bodies and injured to the government hospital in Tripoli.
