BEIRUT — Telecommunication services were interrupted in the areas of Khaldeh, Amrousiyeh, and other nearby Mount Lebanon towns, the state-run telecommunication company Ogero said in a statement Saturday.

Ogero explained the interruption is due to pressure on its generators. It said that its teams are working on the matter.

Phone and internet outages occur regularly in Lebanon due to electricity shortages or theft of equipment and cables.
