BEIRUT — Lebanon lost 122-70 to the US in the third and final group game of the Under-19 basketball World Championships currently underway in Budapest, Hungary. This was Lebanon's second time participating in the competition, sixteen years after its first time at the 2007 edition in Serbia.
After two defeats, against Slovenia (58-74) and Madagascar (66-83), Lebanon lost to the US. The loss means Lebanon is now out of the competition.
The US is the two-time defending champion of the tournament.
