BEIRUT — A fire broke out on Friday in the Jbeil cultural center, located in the city's old souk and run by the municipality, the state-run National News Agency reported. Civil Defense personnel brought the fire under control.
The NNA said there was "heavy material damage" but did not report any injuries.
“The causes of the fire remain unknown,” the NNA concluded.
