Last week, the Lebanese Army received a sixth installment of financial aid from Qatar. The payment came after June 2022, when the army indicated Qatar would give it a donation of $60 million, paid in several installments starting in August.
A military spokesperson said at the time that each soldier would receive $100 in addition to their monthly pay as a result of this aid.
Several countries, especially the United States, have been making many donations to the Lebanese Army after a severe drop in its soldiers' salaries amid the economic crisis.
