Fuel prices increase

BEIRUT — Fuel prices increased in Lebanon on Tuesday morning, according to the latest tariffs announced by the Energy Ministry.

This latest increase comes as the Lebanese lira continues to nosedive on the parallel market — by 10 a.m. Tuesday it was trading just shy of LL100,000 to the US dollar.  

Here are the new prices:

• Twenty liters of 95-octane gasoline: LL1,771,000, up by LL58,000

• Twenty liters of 98-octane gasoline: LL1,813,000, up by LL59,000

• Twenty liters of diesel: LL1,680,000, up by LL54,000

• Gas cylinder: LL1,193,000, up by LL31,000

• One kiloliter of fuel oil (used to supply private generators):$801,05 up by 1.1$.
