BEIRUT — The Internal Security Forces (ISF) on Wednesday reported a fatal hit-and-run incident at Jal al-Dib, north of the Beirut, on the highway connecting the capital to the north of the country. The incident claimed a woman's life, the ISF added.
In a statement, the ISF said that "the body of a woman, between 30 and 40 years old, unidentified, was found in the western lane of the Dbayeh-Jal al-Dib highway, after being hit by a car," adding that driver's identity remains unknown.
The ISF also gave a brief description of the woman, hoping relatives would identify her.
