Iranian TV says forced to quit London after regime threats

The independent network Iran International TV said Saturday that, on UK police advice, it had been forced to shutter its London studios after a "significant escalation in state-backed threats from Iran."

"I cannot believe it has come to this," the network's general manager Mahmood Enayat said, adding that 24-hour broadcasts were continuing from the station's offices in Washington.
