BEIRUT — The Energy Ministry announced a sharp decrease in fuel prices Monday morning, one day after a sudden gain in value of the Lebanese lira on the parallel market.
Here are the new prices:
• Twenty liters of 95-octane gasoline: LL699,000, down by LL58,000
• Twenty liters of 98-octane gasoline: LL715,000, down by LL59,000
• Twenty liters of diesel: LL845,000, down by LL71,000
• Gas cylinder: LL415,000, up by LL35,000
• A kiloliter of fuel (used in private power generators) still priced at $1,066.58
